On November 15th and 16th, Dental Designs had the privilege of participating in the Veterans Mission of Mercy event. Dozens of doctors and assistants volunteered their time and talents to help hundreds of patients. The doctors and students at the University of Nebraska and Creighton took digital and physical impressions for patients who needed dentures and partials. 110 dentures and several partials were designed and printed overnight. We were able to provide close to $50,000 worth of prosthetics to veterans and their spouses. Our team was onsite at the Atlas Readiness Center, offering support and organization. We had technicians in our Lincoln and Omaha labs working through the night to ensure we met our goal. Thanks to our advanced Carbon 3D printers and our skilled technicians, we were able to deliver precise, high-quality dentures and partials in 24 hours. This is our way of giving back to the brave men and women who have served our country. It was a wonderful experience seeing how the dental teams changed people’s lives.
