Digital Full Arch Cases with Dental Designs
Thank you for choosing Dental Designs for your digital full-arch process. We have partnered with leading oral surgeons across the country to provide advanced digital solutions using industry-leading technology and equipment. Our collaboration with these specialists streamlines the full-arch workflow, ensuring seamless coordination between oral surgeons, general dentists, and the laboratory to deliver precise and aesthetically pleasing prostheses for your patients.
Our full-arch workflow consists of five simple steps, utilizing our website, DentalDesignsInc.com, for online ordering as we progress toward finalizing the full-arch zirconia prosthesis.
5 Easy Steps
Step 1 – Pre-Op Workup
Refer your patient to a local oral surgeon for a full-arch consultation. During this visit, pre-op photos and intraoral scans will be taken. These scans are sent to the lab to create a pre-op workup before surgery.
Step 2 – Surgery Day
The patient undergoes full-arch surgery, during which implants, abutments, and necessary scans (including iCam scans) are taken. These scans are sent to Dental Designs, where we merge the data with the pre-op workup to create an immediate load prosthesis. This prosthesis, designed to bridge all implants using multi-unit abutments, will be seated the day after surgery as a foundation for the final full-arch restoration.
Step 3 – Integration Check & Final Scans
Approximately 8 to 12 weeks post-surgery, the oral surgeon evaluates implant integration and torques the abutments. Final intraoral and iCam scans are taken for precise implant impressions.
At this stage, visit DentalDesignsInc.com to order a PMMA prototype via our online ordering page. Here, you can provide specific modifications, upload images, and share any relevant details to ensure an optimal PMMA design. The prototype will be delivered to your office within two weeks of placing the order.
Step 4 – Seating the PMMA Prototype
Once received, seat the PMMA prototype and assess occlusion, tissue adaptation, function, and aesthetics to ensure the best possible outcome. The patient should wear the prototype for one to two weeks as a functional try-in, allowing for any final refinements before the definitive restoration.
Step 5 – Ordering & Seating the Final Zirconia Prosthesis
Once the PMMA prototype is approved, place an order for the final zirconia full-arch prosthesis through DentalDesignsInc.com. The zirconia prosthesis will arrive three weeks after the order is placed. The final step is to seat the zirconia prosthesis and seal the access holes with Teflon tape and composite.
By following this streamlined process, we ensure the most accurate and functional full-arch restoration for your patients. Thank you for trusting Dental Designs for your digital full-arch cases!
